What town?

To set the scene: we live behind an indoor sports complex (indoor cricket, volleyball etc) that's called the ISA, or Indoor Sports Areena.

Okay, now onto the story.

We travelled to Mackay on the weekend to see the Sharks play the Cowboys. (Cowboys won 18-10 :-( ) So about half an our out of Mackay we announce to the kids: "We're at Sarina!"

And cameron replies, "Indoor Sports Areena?"

Defective Bicycles

Veronica pulls her bike out after not using it for a while. "Dad," she says, "my pedals are sqeaky. Can you ink them?"

Later, Cameron brings his bike up and tells me it's broken. When I ask him what's wrong with it, he says, "it keeps falling over". No Cameron, that's not the bike's fault!

Concentrate on Sleeping

On the way home last night, and Cameron snaps at the other kids, "Be quiet! I'm trying to concentrate!"

And 10 seconds later he's fast asleep...

Changing Rooms

Veronica announces:

"Mum and Dad, if you put double bunks in your room, it would be the same size as Cameron's!"

I don't know how that changes the size of the room, but never mind...!

Painful Fork

Cameron says: "It hurts when I bite my fork".

Mum and Dad in unison: "Then don't bite your fork!"
