Driving past Glenmore High School on the way to drop the kids of yesterday morning, and Veronica noticed a bridge that led into the main administration office. The school is built on the side of a slope, so the bridge starts at road height, but ends up connecting with the building at the first floor.
So Veronica asks why there's a bridge going from the road to the school building. I explain that that's so you can get up to the first floor, without having to climb stairs.
Veronica pauses to reflect on the explanation, and then exclaims, "So that's why they call it a high school!"
